Profile

I’m a pianist/composer born and raised in Chicago, IL, USA.  I took piano lessons with Linda Barker at Lakeview Piano Studio, from elementary school through high school. I studied music composition, film, and sound design at Northwestern University.  In my compositions, I try to blend jazz, classical, and pop/rock idioms.  I have experience as a solo performer of original works, jazz standards, and a bit of classical music, as well as experience performing with jazz and rock ensembles.  In the past I’ve provided BGM for restaurants, galleries, and parties, and have worked as an accompanist, especially for Christmas concerts.  Currently, I play piano with the Funabashi-based ensemble “Big Band Beagles." In my free time, I compose, practice, hang out with my wife, and look after my son and daughter.

パーティーでBGMをぱ提供しました。伴奏者の仕事（特にクリスマスのコンサート）もしたことがあります。最近、船橋市のグループ　”ビッグバンドビーグルズ”にピアノを弾きます。自由時間で、作曲して、奥さんと遊んで、息子と娘を世話します。
